Since COVID-19 (also known as the coronavirus) has forced virtually all schools to move to remote learning, many parents are looking for educational resources to engage their children at home. And for students, there's no better way to learn and grow than through reading.
Chris Carneal, our founder and CEO, is the the son of a reading teacher who taught for 35 years. Reading and learning have always been a part of Booster's culture. When our Booster team members are on campus and have some extra time, often you'll find them in a classroom reading to students.
In this spirit, we're going to continue reading to students, even though school may not be in session. Starting Wednesday, March 18, each day we'll be hosting "Story Time with Booster" at 9 a.m. EST on our Facebook page—so make sure to like our page and check in each day at the appropriate time!
During this fun, interactive video session, a Booster Team Member will read a beloved children’s book aloud. You don't want to miss it!
We'll be updating this blog post with each day's video—so make sure to like our Facebook page and check back in on this post to see all the videos.
Happy reading!
