High Five Meal Drive

Every school year the Booster team commits to a service project. During our 2012-2013 school year, we went all in to bring joy to children in local hospitalsPass It Forward was a great opportunity to serve children's hospitals in every Boosterthon community, and with the help of our schools, we donated 28,857 hoop sets!

High Five Meal Drive

We are excited to officially announce our 2013-2014 giveback program, High Five Meal Drive! Together with our schools, we are donating meals to American families to help fight hunger. When a student reaches the $7 per lap reward level, he or she will receive the High Five Lunchbox and the Boosterthon team will donate five meals to a family in need through the non-profit organization, Feeding America.

Our team wants to bring awareness to this problem and become part of the solution. Here are some facts about hunger insecuirty in America that got our attention*:

  • 50.1 million Americans lived in food insecure homes.
  • Food insecurity exists in every county in America.
  • One in five children lack a reliable food supply.

Our goal is to donate more than 275,000 meals by the end of the school year. Will you join us in ending the hunger crisis in America?
