After over 10 years of serving schools, we’ve seen a lot of ways schools highlight and display our program to their students and parents. In some schools, entire bulletin boards are covered with pictures of the pep rally and the Boosterthon Fun Run. In others, a slide show of the program scrolls in the front office for students and parents to see.

Videos are created of our character presentations, the top class’s kick ball game with the Boosterthon team, or the principal kissing a pig or being pied in the face. We love every way our schools capture our program, but last month, one Boosterthon school set the bar pretty high when it comes to creating a video that showcases the fun, the excitement, and the “epicness” of this year’s program.

Andy Bax is the PTO president of Royal Palm Beach Elementary in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Like all of our great parent organization representatives, he wanted to get his school excited about the Boosterthon program, and specifically, “convey all the excitement to the parents and those that missed the pep rally.” Last year, Andy created a video for the 5th grade celebration; it turned out so well he decided to make a video for the Boosterthon pep rally.

An epic movie poster about a Boosterthon pep rally.

While the video is impressive, Andy said it wasn’t too difficult to create. His Mac computer has a program called imovie, and he was able to take all of the video he took at the pep rally (all filmed on cell phones) and create a great movie that captured the energy of the Boosterthon program. This video just shows the pep rally, but Andy is actually making a video that highlights every part of our two-week program.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on his final video!

Special thanks to Andy Bax and Royal Palm Beach Elementary for their enthusiasm. We loved serving your school.
